Untitled

Last of the dinner dishes put away
Anxiety overtakes
I slip into the living room,
step into my shoes,
quietly sneaking
out the door
A few steps,lead to miles
hours pass in minutes
thinking, solving, crying, anger
each has it's time
each given thought
the road back is clear

Cobblestones lifting as proof
there will be hurdles
step carefully, don't rush
close your eyes
listen to your heart
let it lead you home

I love this poem. It carried me through your anxiousness, thoughts and I felt your understanding at the end. Beautiful!

Thanks for sharing.
